Hendricks County Court System
Indiana does not use a county-level district court label for Hendricks trial cases. The county has one Circuit Court, five Superior Courts, two county magistrates, and town courts in Avon, Brownsburg, and Plainfield. Hendricks County Courthouse Access

Restricted Hendricks County Records

Hendricks County Specialty Programs
The confirmed local problem-solving court in the research is Hendricks Superior Court No. 4 Drug Court. Local rules state that Superior Court No. 4 established the drug court under Indiana problem-solving court authority and rules. Participants may be assessed a problem-solving court administration fee, monthly user fee after the first month, and drug-screening costs listed in the local rules.
Hendricks County Courts also have a court-based Alcohol and Drug Services Program administered through Probation. In criminal cases where substance abuse is alleged as a contributing factor, a convicted person may be ordered to pay a substance-abuse fee unless waived under qualifying treatment conditions. No official Hendricks veterans treatment court, mental health court, reentry court, or DWI court page was located in the research.

Hendricks County Court History
Hendricks County was created in 1824 from Putnam County and unorganized territory, and Danville is the county seat. The Town of Danville also identifies 1824 as its founding year.
